Every company that needs a compliance audit eventually runs into the same problem: finding the right auditor is harder than it should be. Most teams start with a search engine or a handful of referrals from other founders, then spend weeks emailing firms, waiting for callbacks, and comparing proposals that are formatted differently and priced with little explanation. There is no shared view of who is actually accredited for a given framework, what their real availability looks like, or how their previous engagements went. The process is slow, it depends heavily on who you happen to know, and it gives buyers very little to compare against beyond a sales conversation.
Auditors face a mirrored version of the same problem. Demand for SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS work is growing, but most of it still arrives through personal networks and inbound emails that are difficult to qualify. Independent auditors and smaller firms in particular spend a disproportionate amount of time on business development instead of audit work, and they have no reliable channel to reach companies that are actively looking for their specific expertise.
Auditly exists to fix both sides of that problem at once. Companies post their audit need, describing the framework, scope, and timeline, and receive bids from vetted auditors who are qualified for that exact type of engagement. Instead of chasing quotes one email at a time, buyers can compare proposals side by side, see auditor credentials and specializations up front, and manage the contract and delivery of the engagement in one place from selection through completion. Auditors, in turn, get access to a pipeline of qualified audit requests that match their accreditation and experience, without having to build that pipeline themselves.
Auditly is built for two groups. On one side are companies that need audits against recognized frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, whether they are preparing for a first audit or renewing an existing certification. On the other side are independent auditors and audit firms who want a more direct, efficient way to find clients that need their specific expertise.
We are still early. Auditly is currently in early access, and we are building the marketplace with a small group of design partners on both sides: companies preparing for audits and auditors looking for better-qualified leads. The core idea is simple, but getting the matching, vetting, and workflow right takes real input from the people who will use it every day, so we are rolling access out gradually rather than opening everything at once.
If you are a company that needs a compliance audit, or an auditor who wants a better way to find clients, we would like to hear from you. Join the waitlist to get early access as we open up the platform, and to help shape how Auditly works before it is generally available.
